Veneratio is a charity which was set up to meet the social needs of the isolated elderly in the borough of Bromley and beyond. Those lacking companionship are one of the fastest growing groups in the UK; we are surrounded by lonely people at the end of their lives. Veneratio aims to counterbalance this tragedy by reconnecting isolated people with their peers and communities and to reverse trends of loneliness, boredom and depression, and to serve as an inspiration to see later life as something to be shared and enjoyed, and not endured.
